Description
The Assistant Manager – Academic Planning will primarily be responsible for assisting Lead- Academic Planning in ensuring smooth planning and execution of the academic year across the TCF network of schools, will play a key role in coordinating for and developing academic calendars, booklists and academic resource lists, designing syllabus breakups, and facilitating policy revisions and rollouts. Additionally, the incumbent of this role will be involved in correspondence and communication with relevant stakeholders and assisting them in different activities/ projects around the year. The contribution of AM- Academic Planning will be crucial in upholding the standards of quality, timeliness, and
efficiency set by the Academic Planning function.
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of assigned projects
within the Academic Planning department, such as the creation of academic
calendars, syllabi, policies, and book lists. - Provide support to the Academic Planning function in project execution.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of subject specialists to develop syllabi for
various grades and subjects. - Review, revise, and/or create clear, coherent, and user-friendly school policies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within TCF.
- Collaborate with multiple departments on various projects related to curriculum
development, student learning outcomes, testing, and similar activities. - Any other academics-related tasks assigned by the management.
Required Skills
- Project management skills, encompassing planning, scheduling, and tracking
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in reading and writing Urdu
- Capacity to read and analyze data and situations
- Strong primary and secondary research skills to contribute to design
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field related to Education
Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience, with a preference for backgrounds in project management or academic-related fields
