The Senior Manager Supply Chain is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across SC Operations & Control and Warehouse & Logistics. This position plays a pivotal role in optimizing end-to-end supply chain performance through effective strategies in demand planning, procurement processes, warehouse management, and distribution. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with leadership skills to enhance efficiency and ensure seamless operations across the supply chain network.

Strategic Supply Chain Management

• Develop and implement annual plan and budget aligned with organization’s and SC objectives.
• Prepare and present comprehensive MIS reports to stakeholders.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives across warehousing and logistics.
• Foster strong collaboration with departments; operations, finance, procurement, and operation excellence department.
• Mentor and develop supply chain teams to build organizational capability.

Demand Planning Coordination

• Lead the demand planning in coordination with all internal stakeholders; academics, academics planning, assessments, operations, operations excellence, SC data analyst, and procurement.
• Implement S&OP processes to align academics, operations and supply chain plans.
• Develop demand planning model accounting for variability.
• Monitor demand planning accuracy metrics and implement improvement initiatives.

SC Operations & Control

• Manage SC operations and control unit as part of Procurement functional split that will include procurement documentation and records management i.e. PR, RFQ, CS, PO, GRN & TO in close coordination with Buying unit.
• Manage invoice processing in coordination with buying unit and finance department.
• Ensure transparency and compliance of transactions in line with organization’s policies and procedures

Distribution Management

• Plan distribution of annual supplies, create bulk orders accounting for variables such as stock in hand, procurement ETA, vehicle capacity, 3PL pick-pack capacity, multi-area co-load, area-wise priority, etc.
• Optimize inventory management, storage space and 3PL warehouse operations
• Manage transportation modes (FTL/LTL) to balance cost, agility and safety.
• Improve receipt management, shortage discrepancies resolution and reverse logistics.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse and logistics performance

• Strong expertise in supply chain operations, demand planning, procurement processes, 3PL warehouse management, and domestic logistics operations
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team development and process improvement.
• Outstanding communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced data analysis skills for generating MIS reports, performance dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Strong analytical skills (forecasting, data analysis, inventory optimization), supply chain expertise (S&OP, logistics, cost management), and soft skills (communication, problem-solving) and balancing data-driven insights with strategic decision-making, optimizing supply chain efficiency amid internal and external variables.
• Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations managed by 3PL (inbound, storage, VAS, outbound and reverse logistics).
• Expertise in managing bulk distribution orders, domestic transportation modes (FTL/LTL), and receipt management.
• Familiarity with SC related documentation such as PR, RFQ, PO, GRN & TO.
• Sound financial understanding for budget, variance, invoice processing, 3-way matching, accounts’ reconciliation and closing.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree / MBA preferred (especially with Operations/Supply Chain focus).
• Professional certifications preferred such as CSCP, CLTD or MCIPS.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing both operations and strategy.
• Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, or Logistics sectors.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS dynamics).
