Description

The Manager, Content & Learning Solutions, will undertake the curation, development, and continuous improvement of learning content for our Teacher Training Programme and School Publishing, with a particular focus on strengthening Mathematics content across training and curriculum resources. The role ensures that TCF’s training courses, textbooks, and supplementary learning materials are engaging, pedagogically sound, and aligned with program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development & Enhancement

  • Design, develop, and update training courses, TCF books, and supplementary learning materials based on established pedagogical best practices and user feedback.
  • Ensure that all content is clear, accurate, and accessible for the intended audience.
  • The Manager will lead the enhancement of Mathematics teaching and learning materials, implement content quality processes, and integrate classroom insights and market research into content design.

Content Quality Assurance

  • Apply the content scorecard and quality benchmarks developed alongside the Senior Manager to review and improve content.
  • Assist in maintaining consistency, clarity, and educational impact across print and digital resources.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with the Dastak and Publishing House teams to ensure that all content aligns with program goals and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with relevant in-house teams across TCF, and external consultants to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Track consultant deliverables to ensure adherence to project timelines and agreed quality expectations.
  • Work with regulatory bodies to obtain NOCs for books and accreditation for training programs.

Team Contribution & Mentoring

  • Contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture within the content development unit.
  • Provide constructive feedback to freelance contributors, or consultants to enhance quality.

Market & User Insight Integration

  • Gather and compile feedback from teachers, students, and school leaders to identify content gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor educational trends, competitor resources (including pricing and content strategies), and user needs to inform content updates.

Innovation in Learning Materials

  • Suggest and pilot innovative content formats, such as interactive visuals, bilingual materials, and QR-linked digital assets, to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Support the integration of educational technology tools under the direction of the Senior Manager.

Required Skills

  • Understanding of curriculum and content development principles.
  • Familiarity with low-cost private school contexts and adult learning methodologies.
  • Strong writing, editing, and instructional design skills.
  • Proven ability to work with and manage external consultants to ensure timely, high-quality outputs.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in content development, curriculum design, teacher training, or educational publishing.
• Demonstrated experience in Mathematics teaching or teacher training, preferably in diverse or underserved learning environments
• Understanding of Mathematics curriculum design, pedagogy, and conceptual progression across grade levels (Primary to Grade 8)
• Experience working with national curriculum frameworks (e.g., National Curriculum of Pakistan)
• Hands-on teaching or training experience in diverse or underserved communities is an asset.
• Exposure to quality assurance processes for educational materials.
