Description
The Digital Literacy Specialist develops high-quality curriculum resources, assessments, and digital learning materials that strengthen digital literacy teaching and learning. The major focus of the curriculum is on developing programming skills using the programming tools and languages such as Scratch, HTML & Java. The role supports curriculum implementation by creating engaging instructional content, determining hardware and software needs of the curriculum, conducting research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with TCF's curriculum standards and educational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality instructional materials, including textbooks, teacher guides, and supplementary resources in English and Urdu.
- Design formative and summative assessments aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
- Create engaging e-learning content and teacher support resources to strengthen content knowledge and classroom practices.
- Research emerging trends, pedagogical approaches, and best practices in digital literacy to inform curriculum improvements.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure instructional materials are visually engaging and aligned with learning objectives.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum, assessment, teacher development, and digital learning teams on curriculum initiatives.
- Support curriculum mapping, resource development, pilot implementation, and continuous improvement projects.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Experience
Preferably 2 – 3 years in teaching, training or curriculum development.
