The incumbent will work as a textbook writer to support the revision process of middle grade (7-8) computer science textbooks in accordance with the Student Learning Outcomes given in the Single National Curriculum. The incumbent will be assigned SNC topics that involve:
 Writing new chapters
 Conducting major revisions on existing chapters by editing content, adding illustrations, questions and exercises etc

• Align existing textbook content (grades 7 and 8) with SLOs from the Single National Curriculum by editing and adding content
•  Coordinate with project lead on the revision process and incorporate feedback
• Collaborate with graphic design team on suggested changes and additions

• Proficiency in using Computer (MS office)
• Strong knowledge of computer science concepts such as
  algorithmic thinking (pattern identification and abstraction),
  programming constructs using Scratch (single sprite or multi sprite games), design thinking in entrepreneurship, Boolean logic, problem solving using sequence, condition and loops.
• Strong English writing skills (with the ability to write ageappropriate and contextually relevant content for students)
• Strong analytical ability
•  Familiarity with Student Learning Outcomes
