Description
Assistant Manager Training will be responsible for ensuring:
1) quality of training given to Aagahi field staff, and
2) capacity building of the program team for effective monitoring visits
- Conduct monitoring visits to 1) check training quality, & 2) performance of centers
- Manage & document field reports, review team’s monitoring visit findings, identify areas for improvement, escalate quality issues internally within department
- Develop training needs improvement plan based on monitoring findings
- Update training manuals/materials to align with training needs improvement plan, prepare Book 2 and final assessments
- Ensure alignment internally & with partner LPF on updated training materials
- Develop/propose Training schedule
- ToT: Ensure quality of training given to Sitaras by LPF, ensure attendance
- Cluster training: Ensure quality of training given to Teachers & Monitors by Sitaras, ensure attendance by trainees
- Develop/propose Monitoring Visit Plan
- Build capacity of program team for conducting monitoring visits, to collect feedback for program improvement & for identifying needs for training improvement
- Ensure monitoring forms are received from field and processed; review of findings
Required Skills
- Minimum of three years related experience in conducting field monitoring visits, and conducting teacher training; experience with community mobilization is an added benefit
- Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to perform and collaborate under challenging conditions
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict for long term benefit of program
- Proficiency with teaching methods and realism/maturity in applying the methods to non-formal education
- Ability to train and develop capacity of staff
- Ability to think clearly, plan, implement and follow up
