Description
The Assistant Manager – Data management and Reporting will be responsible for designing and managing data systems that capture, analyze, and report student enrollment, attendance, academic performance, and feedback trends across centers. The role involves developing digital tools for data collection, coordinating with IT teams for dashboard integration, and ensuring data-driven interventions to enhance teaching, learning, and performance outcomes.
This position requires strong analytical, reporting, and system design capabilities, along with the ability to collaborate with Operations and IT teams to support institutional decision-making.
- Analyze student enrollment, attendance, assessment, and feedback data to identify performance trends and improvement areas.
- Track departmental KPIs and provide insights for management reviews.
- Prepare reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI) to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Generate customized reports for donors, stakeholders, and leadership highlighting academic outcomes and center performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, standardization, and completeness across all records.
- Develop and maintain a centralized digital database for all students, capturing academic progress, attendance, assessments, and feedback.
- Maintain historic data for longitudinal analysis and ensure timely updates.
- Collaborate with national organizations to manage the accurate and timely submission of center and student data in specified formats on national platforms, ensuring regular updates and compliance.
- Coordinate with the IT department to integrate student-level data into institutional dashboards and analytics platforms.
- Design and manage digital data collection tools using platforms such as JotForm, Google Forms to streamline reporting.
- Create and manage user accounts for data entry teams, ensuring proper access controls and data security.
- Ensure data collected through digital tools is structured and compatible with analysis and visualization systems.
- Collaborate with IT to develop or enhance analytics dashboards.
- Train staff on using data collection tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Liaise with IT and Operations teams for system improvements, troubleshooting, and data validation.
- Support Monitoring and Operations teams in interpreting and utilizing data for planning and interventions.
Required Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
- Experience with digital data collection tools (JotForm, Zoho, Google Forms) and database management.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI will be preferred.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with both Operations and IT teams.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Education Technology.
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, education systems, or academic performance management, with a preference for experience in multi-center educational settings or nonprofit organizations.
