Description
- Attend trainings and orientation on curricular material development
- Develop sets of quality, engaging, student-centric lesson plans for the assigned subjects, based on given templates, and finalize them after incorporating feedback
- Maintain a strong connect with the intended users of the resources: teachers and students
- Attend regular check-ins with line manager and the rest of the team
- Assist in research and design of formative and summative assessment strategies for the TGs
- Assist in finalizing the structure of the K-5 TGs according to the specific guidelines and format provided
- Collaborate with multiple departments on a range of projects related to the development of curriculum, student learning outcomes, testing and similar activities
Required Skills
- An understanding of K-1 content in the relevant subject domains
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, Internet Navigation) including willingness to learn Urdu typing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within strict timelines
- Excellent Urdu and English proficiency
- Lesson planning skills will be a major plus
- Understanding of similar schools’ context will be a plus
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to take feedback and incorporate it into their work
Education
Undergraduate Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline
Experience
1-2 years of experience in teaching will be a major +
Experience with lower grades will be a major +
