Description
Literacy and Life Skills department at TCF leads the program on non-formal schooling interventions for out-of-school-children in Pakistan in the 8-16 years age bracket. The incumbent will be responsible for all data of the community centers and support with designing, implementing and analyzing field-based monitoring and evaluation activities for the program.
- Identify areas for improvement based on operational challenges and fine-tune the operational design of the program.
- Provide operational support to the program at the head office and on the field locations
- Organize and/or conduct field visits to identify locations for starting community learning spaces for out-of-school-children
- Develop and implement Monitoring and Evaluation activities
- Ensure that activities/events needed for monitoring are scheduled and responsibilities assigned
- Oversee and / or collect data from the field for different functions of the program and maintaining the database
- Analyze data collected and organize in summary reports to be shared with senior management
- Overseeing and / or coordinating visits of field officers to community locations
- Develop operational work plans for the program
- Assist in preparation of program’s annual, semi-annual reports and other ad hoc reports
- Other activities related to the program
- Liaison between IT and 3rd party vendor to develop program app/portal similar to NFEMIS (https://www.nfemis.net/Default.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f)
Required Skills
- Experience of outreach to communities at the grassroots level
- Experience of overseeing and implementing field-based operations in education
- Experience of overseeing and implementing monitoring and evaluation activities in the field
- Sound analytical skills and ability to work with data
- Cultural sensitivity and demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse constituencies at the grassroots level
- Proficient in using MS Office and Excel
- Strong command over English, Urdu and Sindhi (preferred)
- Must have excellent multitasking, attention-to-detail, organizational and interpersonal skills with high energy and creativity.
- Self-starter, willing to identify and lead new initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate within a team in a fast paced, uncertain environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and courteously with colleagues throughout the organization , other constituents and the public
- Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic coding, know-how of programming and app development is preferred
- MS Excel (Advanced)

Bachelors In Computer science/ Accounting & finance
Experience
2 - 3 years of experience in a software house/ Banking sector/ startups
