Description
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
- Check, verify, and certify construction as well as repair and maintenance bills.
- Conduct rate analysis and develop detailed cost estimates for new and ongoing works.
- Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) in coordination with structural drawings and site requirements.
- Evaluate and verify contractor claims and prepare valuations for interim payment certificates.
- Develop and update stipulated payment milestones with project teams and contractors, ensuring alignment with work progress.
- Conduct site visits for bill verification.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams to optimize project costs and ensure value for money.
Required Skills
- Possess sound knowledge of price escalation and adjustment procedures under contractual frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Light Gauge Steel Structure (LGS).
- Proficient in AutoCAD for reading drawings, reviewing plans, and extracting quantities.
