Description
The Deputy Manager Donor Engagement will play a pivotal role in supporting the cultivation, stewardship, and growth of relationships with TCF’s local and global Major Donors. The primary focus will be to enable and support frontline teams and country partners in delivering high-quality donor engagement. The role demands excellent communication, coordination, analytical, and leadership skills to ensure consistent donor satisfaction and long-term commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of tailored donor engagement strategies, ensuring consistent communication and meaningful touchpoints.
- Map donor journeys and ensure donors remain on a thoughtful, personalized engagement trajectory.
- Liaise with TCF’s frontline team and country partners to align on donor servicing and implementation of engagement plans
- Prepare and maintain detailed donor profiles, capturing philanthropic interests, engagement history, and future potential using CRM platforms (e.g., Donor Perfect, Salesforce).
- Coordinate the planning and execution of donor visits and events to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Manage a small portfolio of major donors, ensuring timely updates, personalized engagement, and appropriate recognition.
- Maintain up-to-date donor records and communications in the CRM system and support ongoing data accuracy.
- Monitor and identify any risks to donor relationships and proactively support the frontline teams in addressing them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, regional, and Brands & Communications teams to develop high-quality donor engagement materials and customized deliverables such as reports, videos, messages and presentations.
- Ensure strategic engagement of TCF’s Board Members and Ambassadors by creating tailored engagement plans and supporting their participation in donor-related initiatives, events, and communications.
Required Skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across functions and geographies.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu, including the ability to write persuasive reports, proposals, and donor updates.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize donor data and trends to improve engagement strategies.
- Proven project management and coordination skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Donor Perfect or Salesforce, along with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, while also being a team player in a cross-functional environment.
- Deep commitment to TCF’s mission and an understanding of the social sector landscape in Pakistan.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Development Studies, Communications, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in donor engagement, client servicing, or relationship management, preferably within the development, education, or non-profit sector.
