Description

Managing Treasury Functions, including investments, working capital and related reporting;

Maintaining strong relationships with external entities such as banks, investment houses etc

Close co-ordination with TCF’s country partner entities across the world to monitor and report on their compliance with local governance codes and legal requirements

Assist with all queries related to governance and accounting related matters of TCF’s country partners

Liaising with local and international legal counsel to obtain advice and manage issues that may arise from time to time
-
Reviewing and monitoring legal compliance matters and updating TCF teams accordingly (AML/CFT);

Managing the risk assessment function, conducting the risk assessment exercise and providing secretarial support to the Board’s risk management committee.

Supervising Zakat Compliance procedures and to ensure smooth renewal of annual Compliance Certificate;

Liaising with Shariah Advisor on a host of evolving projects in respect of Zakat and allied matters;

Advising internal customers on a host of matters and be a business partner;
Required Skills

Proficiency in using computers (MS Office, Internet)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

In depth knowledge of financial markets, strong banking relationship building skills

Sound knowledge and experience of ESG and risk & compliance functions

Exposure to international corporate governance codes/regimes
Education
The candidate should ideally be CA qualified or an MBA with at least 10 years of experience in finance department
Experience
For CA at least 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience and for MBA at least 10 to 12 years in a large NPO or listed company with exposure to an ERP environment
