Description

The Lead Talent Development position is responsible for driving and overseeing the talent development initiatives across the organization, with a focus on performance management, reward and recognition, and capacity building. This role requires strategic planning, execution, and alignment of key programs that support the growth and development of employees.

Performance Management

  • Spearhead the implementation of our performance management framework, ensuring it continuously evolves and drives excellence across the organization
  • Empower managers and employees by guiding them through a seamless performance appraisal journey including setting targets, providing actionable feedback, and conducting meaningful evaluations
  • Collaborate with leadership to set clear performance expectations and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Design and enhance performance management systems for our key educational roles, including principals and teachers, ensuring they are equipped to meet and surpass organizational performance standards
  • Innovate by reviewing current processes and spearheading automation strategies that streamline and elevate our performance management practices.

Reward & Recognition

  • Design and oversee reward and recognition programs that reflect our organizational values and behaviours, driving employee engagement and motivation. Leverage research and industry best practices to ensure these programs are both innovative and impactful.
  • Continuously analyse the effectiveness of reward programs, using data-driven insights to recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Lead the development and distribution of rewards communication materials, including brochures and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and consistency in messaging across all platforms
  • Strategically plan, prepare, and execute awards for major events, streamlining processes to showcase our organization’s values and amplify employee engagement.

Capacity building

  • Spearhead the creation and implementation of capacity-building strategies designed to elevate the skills, knowledge, and competencies of employees across the organization with a special emphasis on empowering education leaders
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify skill gaps and co-develop tailored learning and development programs that drive meaningful growth and organizational excellence..

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure that the organization's talent development strategies remain competitive and effective.
  • Utilize data analytics and automation to simplify processes and inform decision-making

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or Social Science.

Experience

At least 3 - 5 years of experience in HR preferably in Talent/organizational development role.
