The Manager – Content & social media, will be a dynamic storyteller and digital strategist who bridges creative content development with impactful outreach. This role requires an agile, customer-first professional skilled in multi-channel social media management, content creation, and campaign execution, with a passion for education and social impact. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in expanding our digital footprint, driving lead generation, and nurturing meaningful connections with educators across low-cost private schools.
- Content Strategy & Creation:
Develop innovative, high-quality content (posts, reels, stories, videos, email campaigns) in both English and Urdu that resonates with our audience and strengthens brand recall for Dastak Teacher Training. Spot content opportunities internally and externally, including lead magnets and influencer collaborations. - Social Media and Community Management:
Grow and engage Dastak’s social media communities across platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and others relevant to our target audience. Monitor conversations, respond promptly to queries, and nurture a customer-first digital community. - Campaign Planning and Execution:
Design, implement, and optimize paid digital campaigns to drive Dastak Teacher Training’s product awareness, registrations, and conversions. Manage ad budgets and work closely with the sales and training teams to align messaging and goals. - Data-Driven Optimization:
Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign and content performance, generate actionable insights, and refine strategies for higher engagement and reach. - Collaboration and Innovation:
Partner with graphic designers, videographers, and internal stakeholders to produce visually compelling and culturally relevant content. Turn emerging trends and organizational insights into innovative content and campaign ideas. - Brand Stewardship:
Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across all digital and offline platforms, ensuring alignment with Dastak Teacher Training’s social enterprise mission and The Citizens Foundation legacy.
Required Skills
Essential:
- Proficiency in creating and repurposing digital content: posts, reels, stories, videos, and email campaigns.
- Strong social media management skills, including audience engagement, paid campaign oversight, boosting, and lead generation.
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to interpret social media and digital content metrics to optimize engagement.
- Customer-first attitude and strong community management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams (design, sales, training) and manage multiple projects.
- Creativity, initiative, and passion for education and social good.
Desirable:
- Video production, photography, and basic filmmaking experience to enrich content quality.
- Experience spotting content trends and turning them into actionable ideas.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital marketing, advertising, media, public relations, or a related field.
Experience
• Demonstrated experience (at least 3-5 years) managing social media campaigns and content for an organization or brand.
• Proven track record of developing and executing content strategies on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and other relevant platforms.
• Prefer candidates with certifications in digital marketing, Google Analytics/Ads, or social media management, along with experience in video production, photography, or filmmaking. Knowledge of influencer engagement and lead magnet development is a plus.
