Description
The Citizens Foundation is seeking a Manager - Creatives to support the execution and quality assurance of instructional video production within the Schools Learning and Development (SLD) department. The role will focus on overseeing the creative and technical execution of videos across design, animation, and editing stages while ensuring alignment with project timelines and production standards.
The position will work closely with the Senior Manager Video Production and coordinate with internal teams, freelancers, and production crew to ensure smooth execution of shoots and post-production workflows. The role requires strong knowledge of video production processes, including editing, animation, and design, to provide effective feedback and maintain quality across all video outputs.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of video production workflows including pre-production, shoot execution, and post-production
- Proficiency in video editing, animation, and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop or equivalent)
- Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on animation, design, and video edits
- Strong coordination and project management skills to oversee multiple videos simultaneously
- Strong visual sense and attention to detail in ensuring quality and consistency across videos
- Experience in coordinating video shoots and supporting on-ground production activities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt during shoots and production processes
- Organizational skills for managing creative assets, files, and production documentation
Education
Bachelor's degree in Media Sciences, Communication and Design, or a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in video production, creative project management, or media production
- Experience in overseeing editing, animation, or design workflows
- Prior experience working on educational or instructional content is preferred
