    Description

    The Manager Virtual College is a leadership role. The incumbent will be responsible and accountable for designing and executing the Virtual College pilot in Year – I and pan-Pakistan expansion plans beyond 2021.

    • Lead the Ed-Tech design of Virtual College to enable TCF alumni from anywhere in Pakistan to study online and pursue their goals of higher secondary and tertiary education
    • Lead the integration of TCF College resources, content, methodology and best practices for dissemination via technology
    • Lead the definition and/ or modification of academic processes, online pedagogy and related resources for the Virtual College
    • Lead and manage operations, finances, supply chain, marketing, outreach and hiring for the program – for both the pilot in Year I and beyond
    • Lead the design, implementation and continuation of a robust data and information management framework for the program
    • Work with Head of College in aligning college ethos, culture, expectations and goals
    • Assist with financial management, funding needs and proposals for grants to secure the program beyond the pilot
    • Lead communication and integration across teams, faculty, student body and TCF management

    • Must be flexible, adaptable, and open to evolution of role and the project since it is at a nascent stage – can work with uncertainty.
    • Great team leadership skills; top notch with people management, communication and teambuilding
    • Demonstrated passion towards and understanding of technology, its applications and possibilities with education
    • Good knowledge/understanding/experience of education paradigms, ed-tech and innovations in the fields
    • Good analytical skills; must be a good problem solver capable of making well-informed, principled decisions and creating innovative solutions
    • A great work ethic and a knack for continuous improvement

     

    Education

    At least Masters in a related field from a reputable university

    Experience

    5 – 7 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the field of education, ed-tech and/or the development sector
