CDU’s mission is to strengthen TCF’s footprint into the community by building strategic alliances to promote poverty alleviation, preventive health, and environmental and social development, prioritizing for communities where TCF has presence and focusing on: Adult Literacy, Drinkable Water, Vocational Training The Senior Manager – CDU would be responsible for assisting the HOD in the delivering impact across all three programs by working with the program teams and ensuring timely execution of activities.
- The Senior Manager will assist the HOD to design Program parameters including objectives and outcomes, budgets, and performance measurement metrics, and will seek to launch new projects under these Programs.
- Periodic communication/meetings will be held with the strategic partner and with relevant implementing departments within TCF to ensure alignment of activities and goals.
- The Senior Manager will work with the Program Leads to ensure timely implementation of project activities.
- Program Leads will have the support of on-ground Coordinators who are responsible for field level coordination, trouble-shooting, as well as monitoring and evaluation of project activities against planned outputs.
- The Senior Manager will assist the HOD in presenting weekly program performance reports to the Executive Advisor, as well as the monthly update to the TCF Senior Management in terms of lives impacted through the on-ground projects.
- The Senior Manager will also work on any special projects which may be assigned.
Required Skills
- Understanding of how teams work, how programs are designed, and pilot projects are launched, evaluated and then scaled.
- Knowledge of community mobilization and program management would be an added advantage.
- Process oriented with good organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships.
- Complete computer literacy (MS Office & internet etc.) and clear database concepts.
- Should be extremely well versed in handling MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong budgeting and financial reporting skills.
- Analytical and with clear logical thought and decision-making abilities.
- Is adaptable, self-motivated, independent worker
Education
Master’s in Business Administration, social sciences or project management.
Experience
8+ years of program management experience including leading/working with teams at an NGO or corporation.
