Description

The incumbent will be responsible for designing and implementing the day-to-day flow of timely updates, news and organisational communications across the TCF family. The incumbent will need to ensure internal communications processes are created and maintained and resources are well utilized and coordinated in order to improve cross-organisational communications and messaging of TCF’s mission. The role involves managing activities at the head office and also working with country partners and volunteers. This position requires working on flexible work hours.

  • Produce inspiring news stories to support our family to deliver on our mission through multiple digital mediums
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with TCF's mission, goals, and values, considering a global perspective.
  • Craft compelling narratives to effectively convey TCF's impact, programmes, and success stories across cultural contexts.
  • Develop and establish internal systems and processes to deliver on communication objectives
  • Work with colleagues within Marketing to make sure our storytelling is aligned with strategic communications priorities
  • Supports colleagues across across the family to deliver communications from Pakistan that are focused, engaging and relevant
  • Ensure all internal communications, information and resources are shared across TCF in a timely and accurate fashion and is up to date, easy to retrieve and meets the highest quality standard.
  • Share key news, updates and event updates from Country Partners with the family.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate and deliver training, webinars for Country Partners and Development staff

Required Skills

The successful candidate must have:

  • Exceptional communications skills, in particular writing, editing and reporting skills
  • Strong ability to acquire relevant information from others
  • Strong ability to deliver complex information with clarity in a wide range of situations
  • Strong ability to work calmly under pressure to tight deadlines and balance competing priorities
  • Able to work across different cultures, with personalities who face competing demands
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to work independently but also maintain a close connection with a team
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Education

Bachelors in humanities, business management, marketing or related fields from an Accredited University.

Experience

6+ years of work experience ideally in a communications role
