Description
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the distribution of supplies to TCF area offices from third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse and vendors.
- Assist in developing and implementing a strategic roadmap for warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations, aligning with the foundation's overall objectives.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse, distribution, and logistics activities, including inventory management, distribution order making and fulfillment, transportation and receiving end-processes.
- Optimize distribution networks and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to area or cluster offices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop standardized procedures and guidelines for ware-house operations, order processing, and logistics activities.
- Conduct data analysis and cost comparisons to evaluate current logistics models and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Identify and select optimal logistics modalities, such as freight, air, road, or rail, based on factors like cost, speed, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics pro-viders and managing service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
- Implement robust tracking and monitoring systems to provide real-time visibility into inventory levels, shipments, delivery sta-tus and receiving acknowledgment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety stand-ards, and industry best practices in warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and innova-tions in warehouse, distribution, and logistics management.
Required Skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate logistics performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong knowledge or willingness to learn warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Experience in selecting and managing third-party logistics providers and/or negotiating contracts and SLAs.
- Excellent understanding of various transportation modes and logistics modalities, with the ability to evaluate and select the most suitable options based on cost, speed, and efficiency.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Education
Bachelor's or Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related field is preferred.
Experience
Preferred: Overall Experience of 5 – 6 years in Supply Chain, with a focus on warehouse and logistics
