  • Maintain a set of FAQs and guidance notes for field teams.

Field Observations and Support:

  • Visit schools across the TCF network to observe how the zakat assessment process is executed.
  • Identify any gaps or deviations and guide principals and staff on the correct application of the process.
  • Ensure on-ground teams are confident and well-prepared to conduct the prescribed interactions with families.

Training and Capacity Building:

  • Conduct training sessions for principals and other relevant staff on the zakat eligibility and authorization process.
  • Deliver annual refreshers and additional training when required.
  • Ensure consistent understanding and application of the zakat process across the organization.

Process Improvement and Feedback:

  • Identify shortcomings or areas for improvement in how the process is implemented.
  • Provide structured feedback for refinement of guidelines, training, or documentation.
  • Work with the Head of Projects & Planning and the Shariah Advisor’s office to strengthen the process framework.

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:

  • Collaborate frequently with teams at the school, area, regional, and zonal levels.
  • Coordinate with participants from the finance function on matters connected to zakat implementation.
