Description
- Lead the design and implementation of holistic student development programs focused on leadership, communication, confidence building, resilience, agency, ethics, professionalism, and life-skills.
- Develop structured interventions and developmental journeys for students across college years.
- Design and oversee English language proficiency initiatives aimed at improving spoken communication, comprehension, writing, presentation skills, and confidence for university and professional environments.
- Design and implement a comprehensive digital literacy curriculum, ensuring students gain proficiency in essential computing skills, online research, digital ethics, and productivity tools required for higher education and the modern workplace.
- Create exposure and enrichment opportunities including workshops, speaker sessions, university visits, industry interactions, mentoring forums, reading and discussion circles, public speaking opportunities, and experiential learning initiatives.
- Develop and oversee individual and group mentoring frameworks for students.
- Lead counselling initiatives supporting academic, personal, emotional, and career development needs.
- Oversee university preparation initiatives including aptitude test readiness, application support, interview preparation, and admissions counselling.
- Coordinate with internal teams including assessments, scholarships, and tertiary pathways teams to support placement decisions.
- Design systems to monitor student participation, growth, engagement, outcomes, and intervention effectiveness.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members within the Student Development function.
- Work closely with the College Leadership Team to integrate student development priorities into the overall college strategy.
- Champion a culture of aspiration, wellbeing, empathy, responsibility, and continuous growth.

- Ability to create systems for student tracking, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Good analytical skills; must be a good problem solver capable of making well-informed, principled decisions and creating innovative solutions.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable institution
Experience
5–7 years of relevant experience in student development, youth engagement, counselling, mentoring, education management, or the development sector, preferably with adolescents and young adults from underserved backgrounds.
