Description

Bank Reconciliation & Monitoring

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and ensure timely completion
  • Follow up and resolve reconciling items in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Record bank-related transactions including charges, profit, tax, and exchange gain/loss

Cash Flow & Bank Position Management

  • Prepare and monitor daily bank position reports
  • Handle inward remittances by coordinating with banks
  • Process foreign payments to vendors,

Banking Operations, Compliance & Controls

  • Prepare fund transfer cheques
  • Manage donation and payment confirmations as required
  • Compile monthly bank profit rate sheets
  • Ensure banking compliance including updates of signatories, online access, and documentation.
  • Coordinate and arrange bank confirmations during external audit.
  • Coordinate with banks for confirmation of any donations/ grants/reversal requested received in account.
  • Record exchange gain/loss on foreign currency on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain proper records and controls over banking activities

Audit & Reporting

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations
  • Ensure all treasury records are audit-ready and compliant

Others

  • Coordinate with banks and internal departments for smooth treasury operations
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by Line Manager as and when required

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of treasury operations, banking processes, and cash management
  • Knowledge of bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and accounting principles
  • Familiarity with banking compliance requirements and documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of foreign exchange, bank charges, and profit calculations is an advantage

Education

Bachelors (4 years) or ACCA/CIMA/ICMA part qualified
