Description
As a Relationship Executive, you'll be TCF's representative on the ground in your assigned territory, reaching out to low-fee private schools, building trust with school owners and leaders, and bringing them on board with two key offerings: the Dastak Teacher Training Programme and TCF School Books. Together, these are designed to strengthen classroom teaching and learning, and to support teachers at every stage of their careers.
Beyond managing existing accounts, you will guide schools from first conversation to long-term collaboration. This role suits someone who thrives on relationship-building and believes in quality education.
Job Responsibilities
Territory Development & School Outreach:
- Own and manage an assigned geographic territory to expand the reach of TCF school books and teacher training.
- Identify, map, and maintain a database of Low-Fee Private Schools and private school associations within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular school visits to build relationships with owners, principals, and key decision-makers.
Solution-Based Selling:
- Identify partner schools' academic and professional development needs, and recommend appropriate TCF learning solutions.
- Promote and secure enrolments in the Dastak Teacher Training Programme and adoption of TCF School Publishing books and resources.
- Present customized solutions through product presentations and orientation sessions.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve assigned volume and value targets across teacher training programmes and educational resources.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
- Convert prospective schools into active institutional partners.
- Track opportunities from lead generation through closure and repeat business.
Relationship Management & Partner Success:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner schools within the assigned territory.
- Build long-term relationships through regular school visits and customer support.
- Address queries and provide timely guidance before, during, and after adoption.
- Ensure a positive customer experience that encourages repeat business and referrals.
Product Adoption & Implementation Support:
- Organize post adoption sessions and briefings for school leadership and teachers.
- Facilitate sample book distribution, collection, and follow-up with prospective schools.
Exhibitions, Events & Marketing Support:
- Represent TCF at exhibitions, conferences, education expos, book fairs, and promotional events.
- Organize school visits, promotional campaigns, book fairs, and product launch activities within the assigned territory.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM covering school profiles, customer interactions, sales activity, and partnership status.
- Track competitor offerings, pricing, and customer needs to identify market opportunities
Community Engagement & Teacher Networks:
- Build and nurture a community of like-minded principals, teachers, and school leaders.
- Promote partner participation in Dastak's Communities of Practice, alumni networks, and webinars to strengthen long-term engagement.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, or educational marketing.
Experience working with schools, educational institutions, NGOs, publishers will be preferred.
Experience in field or institutional sales will be an added advantage.
