Description

  • Responsible to manage multiple construction sites at various locations including new construction, maintenance, solar and special projects
  • Manage all construction & post construction issues of TCF projects (New, Maintenance and special projects etc.)
  • Provide guidance, technical support, and supervision to ensure projects are executed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules and budgets.
  • Develop and implement a tracking system for assessing project performance against KPIs related to time, cost, and quality.
  • Sound knowledge of preparing & checking BOQs, BBS & Bills
  • Review contractor bills in correlation with actual work done and verify variation wherever applicable.
  • Develop effective project management and daily monitoring of sites
  • Develop APM tracking mechanism and ensure its visibility on dashboards.
  • Ensure quality control & quality assurance at all level
  • Well versed with construction trends (rates, material, labor costs etc.)
  • Lead & manage a team of Engineers (APM) across various project sites in the assigned region
  • Knowledge of structural assessment, rehabilitation and retrofitting methodologies, soil investigation, and land surveying principles
  • Conduct regular meetings with contractors and regular site inspections to review and discuss progress also addressing on-site issues or delays.
  • Ensure that all construction activities adhere to project scope, specifications and budget.
  • Conduct site visits to verify compliance with design drawings, codes, and standards.
  • Ensure the construction materials used by contractor on site are as per TCF provided drawings & specifications
  • Foresee upcoming delays due to lack of material availability & intimate the contractor & line manager on time regarding the delay.
  • Make sure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets and deadline
  • Proficient in MS Office & MS Project, Power BI (Preferred).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional departments and stakeholders.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager

Required Skills

  • Experienced in managing multiple projects across different locations simultaneously.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, quantity surveying, structural drawings, MS Office, and AutoCAD, with proven experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Willing to travel frequently to all project sites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Education

B.E/BSc (Civil). Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or project management will be an added advantage. (By HEC/PEC recognized university).
