Description
The incumbent will be responsible for achieving operational excellence at TCF by fulfilling the following responsibilities viz Policy & Process Optimization:
- Lead and manage the overall process for development &/or redesign of various policies/processes (thereafter called “projects”) identified for improvement, in order to achieve excellence in operations.
- Creating cross functional project teams as working groups, ensuring training/alignment of team members in their approach towards process improvements
- Monitoring and sharing performance updates of working groups through regular presentations to steering committee
- Standardizing & ensuring governance in how project teams will work:
- Formulation of the project teams
- Defining the project scope: problem statement, objectives, timelines, stakeholders. Understanding of the problem is key for ensuring relevant solutions are designed.
- Identifying measurement metrics for the problem (using surveys, performance data), as well as measurement metrics for solutions in order to do cost-benefit analysis
- Analysing the problem using quantitative and qualitative information & feedback from steering committee
- Proposing innovations / improvements / solutions that address the problem and understand impact of the proposal. This includes development of data collection systems to obtain key performance metrics, gain real-time insights, and leverage tools to help make critical decisions. Also includes development of training/communication material for rollout.
- Initiating the control group / pilot to implement, test and monitor proposed solution
Required Skills
- Critical thinking, curiosity and data driven approach are essential to this role.
- Project management skills.
- Understanding of Analysis tool such as Power BI or Data Studio
- Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Quick learner and independent worker who is self-motivated to work for an organization like TCF
- Should have a knack for process mapping and identifying and solving a problem in the process
- Should have good understanding of how to use data for cost-benefit analysis/trade-offs

Experience
7+ years of experience in BPR / Supply Chain, Operations Research
