Description
The Manager would be responsible for program implementation, quality assurance and growth. He/She will lead the team, providing direction and guidance to ensure alignment and smooth coordination within the team. He/She would use data to make informed decisions, in order to improve program quality. He/She will be in charge of communication with relevant internal stakeholders. He/she would facilitate HOD/EA with fund raising and donor relationship management.
- Program Planning – developing activity charts/schedules, budgets, assigning & managing resources, and leading new initiatives
- Program Operations – ensuring timely execution of planned activities
- Program Growth – developing a future looking outlook to expand and grow the program
- Data Management – ensuring timely collection, and accurate recording and presentation of data
- Program Reporting and Monitoring - developing Monthly Progress Review Reports, tracking progress against activity chart/project calendar
- Program and Process Improvement – review of existing processes and practices for design improvements
- Stakeholder Management - communicate and coordinate with various internal/external stakeholders to ensure program goals are achieved
- Program Visibility - Identification and development of success stories
Required Skills
- Great at project management, execution and delivery.
- Community mobilization knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Analytical and have decision making abilities.
- Process oriented and good organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to develop good working relationships.
- Strong computer literacy (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, internet navigation) especially data management using MS Excel.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, independent worker.
Education
An undergraduate degree with experience of implementing projects or MBA with experience in project management is desirable.
Experience
5+ years of project management experience in the development sector. The job requires a person who thinks clearly, is pro-active, and who can lead the team by providing direction.
